Here is another old black and white piece of mine. It is an abstract face, or at least that's what it is to me. I haven't even looked at this one in so long that I am really enjoying what I am seeing when I view it now. It really has to be viewed in fullscreen to be fully realized. I wanted to explain the process behind putting something like this on paper but I just don't know how. It's not like there is a set out plan, it's more like sitting down to draw and an hour later you have this weird slightly disturbing jumble of shapes sitting before you. I can liken the process to ridding a bull, you don't control it you just hold on and hope you can stay on top of it.

  1. I love this piece of work. It's very visually stimulating, and very creepy at the same time. I'd like to see how it would look if you put color to it, though I think this may always look better in black and white.
